Smoothies are a great, grab and go breakfast or snack and you can pack in tons of nutrients into a perfect sized drink. They are also fun for kids to drink and they can help by adding in the spinach or topping it with granola!
Ingredients 1 cup water (more if too thick) 2 or 3 handfuls of spinach, kale, watercress, or a mixture 1 serving vegan vanilla protein powder (optional) 1 banana 1/2 - 1 cup frozen wild organic blueberries 3 tbsp hemp hearts 1 tbsp spirulina 1 lemon, juiced 1 cube fresh ginger 1/2 cup ice
Directions Add your ingredients into your high powered blender in the order listed, and blend until smooth.
Note: I usually drink this whole recipe myself, but it is big enough to share with little ones!
